What’s on Your List?
Mine is short today, but sometimes it’s so long that I have to give myself permission to only do a quarter of it and say, “The rest is long-term. The rest is long term.”
Mantras really help me here.
Today I must get to:
- buy groceries
- pay bills
- dig out the monster bush I slew yesterday
- write a letter and mail it
- make dental appointments
- file paperwork
- call the attorney
- make 4 doz cookies
- plan next week’s school
- and teach/read/play with my children
FlyLady has declared Wednesdays Anti-Procrastination Day. I love it. As in, LOVE it. Today is my day to get one thing done that I just … ugh… don’t want to do! But as soon as I do it (because I have to – today is Anti-Procrastination Day), I feel POWERFUL. On top of things. On the ball. I have attitude, and I usually end up anti-procrastinating something else that’s been lurking in my subconscious and stressing me out.
Happy Anti-Procrastination Day! Go out and conquer!
