Brain Child, by Starr Weems de Graffenried, seem like the perfect book for a homeschooling mother.  Chock-full of ideas that relate to math, science and language, Brain Child gets you mapping your taste buds, creating 3-D drawing, making natural dyes, and puzzling over secret codes.  The cover is a bit… weird, granted.  But I want to read it anyway.  I admit it:  I’m a sucker for activities that slyly boost my kids’ brain power!
