Martha Stewart Cookie Book Winner!
You know, there are so many things I like about this book. I like the spare and slightly-retro design, the modern fonts and the mouthwatering photography.
I like the organization, too. Cookies are listed in the back index, of course, but the front has a pictographic index, defined by cookie texture: soft and chewy, crumbly and sandy, light and airy…
The third thing I really like about the book is the selection of cookies. This is a well-edited group of recipes – some are fancy, some require only four ingredients. But all of them are presented in a “You can do this, here’s the simple steps” fashion. I love the helpful photos and the one-page recipes with full-bleed photos on the facing page. It’s just so… clean. Clean and neat.
The last thing I love about this Martha Stewart book is that one of you is getting it! I can’t wait to hear what you make first!
