Alma Crib | giggle.com
This awesome piece of baby furniture has form and function elevated to an art. Designed with the space constrained modern parent in mind, the mini crib is only available at giggle for now, but I expect to see plenty of rip-offs in a few years. This would be great to stash in the trunk for family reunions or for a second crib at grandma’s house… It’s so small and, and… be still my beating heart, IT FOLDS.
When I read that, I immediately dashed off to giggle’s website to check it out. Listen to this, folks: it’s not only portable and cool, it comes in green and white, has low VOC finish, and is made of sustainably harvested birch. It assembles in a few easy steps and without tools. What’s not to love?
At $400, this crib is pricier than your average safety-recall-plagued WalMart brand. I’m not a fan of WalMart, so that’s almost an endorsement. But it’s nowhere near the designer thousand-dollar price tag you’d expect at giggle. If you’re on the go or your baby’s often away from home, consider buying this crib. When you’re done, you can always fold it up and stick it under your bed. Or in your closet. Or behind your vacuum. Or in the garage…
