Happy Birthday!
Today my Rachel turned FIVE.
I can’t believe it. I mean, I look at her, and yes, she’s tall enough. I listen to her and she’s more than verbal enough. I hug her and she’s just that perfect five-year-old huggable. But still…
The doctor only JUST made it in time, speeding in his red Porsche to make it to the hospital to deliver her. They only JUST laid her in my arms, her face and head so perfectly round.
She only JUST stunned us all with her first word at 2 months. She only JUST broke her arm on Grandma’s stairs, only JUST graduated from Joy School, and only JUST started playing violin.
It’s only JUST been a few moments with her, and she’s already so grown up and independent. I love my little girl. Happy birthday, Rachel!
