Moo…

Baby had some shots a couple weeks ago.  They made her miserable and she didn’t want to eat.  Obviously, when you’re nursing and your baby doesn’t eat as much, there are leftovers.  And they kind of hang around (sorry…).

The pressure just kept building and building.  After her midnight feeding, I couldn’t take it anymore.  I pulled out my Medela (I love this pump!!!!  More on that later), and started pumping.

Oh, the relief.

Thank you, Medela.  I will never glance at a hand pump again.

Maybe it’s just me, but isn’t that a lot of liquid?  16 ounces.  Sheesh.  No wonder I couldn’t take it any longer!

This, ladies (and unfortunate gentlemen), is my daughter’s breakfast, lunch, and dinner.  And breakfast.  And lunch.  And dinner.

She loves it.  Little piggy.

I’m reminded of the cows on my parent’s farm.  When we were late milking them, they would go to the barn and stand there and moo and moo and moo, waiting to be relieved.

I bet they feel just like me.  Bovine sisters, I understand!

Moo.
